"FAREWELL TO MIGUEL ILDEFONSO"

By: Niko Velita

Lima is a night of Tuesday March 16, 2010. One night routine of the streets where pedestrians walk in search of something. The street in every corner play the next day's menu or return ticket home. I I also internal in that sea of \u200b\u200bpeople. In my case, like 50 other endangered creatures, seek Jiron Ucayali where the Centro Cultural Inca Garcilaso de la Vega. Here we have gathered, some lovers of literature. It is the presentation of the book Dantes, Miguel Ildefonso, a book of poetry that has been favorably commented on various Internet media. 7 pm People start to arrive. I find William Gonzalez: friendly blogger (Cultural Drops lyrics), and the poet Eduardo Borjas. Where is everybody? Surely in a previous. Of course, for heat engines. Well, we lost it for being late to the prior. We're in that conversation when you see Michael with the group previa. And people is great joy, I see out there with Fernando Carrasco, Raul Heraud, Hector Hernandez, Giancarlo Huapaya, José Pancorvo, Paolo de Lima, Luis Fernando Chueca, Paolo Astorga, among others.

day begins. On the table are José Carlos Yrigoyen, Victoria Guerrero, Miguel Ildefonso, but lack the editor (it is on the way). The presenter, a representative of Centro Cultural Inca Garcilaso de la Vega, read biobibliography Miguel Ildefonso. Wide and of itself. It is the tenth book of poetry. In narrative is now the third. Osea total of 13 books! But then the author for clarification. The Dantes is the tenth book written, but the eighth published. The other two books that are missing are on track to editing. Then look presenters reading their speeches. It also speaks to the editor, who is almost Stalinist self-criticism for being late and also the book comes out tomorrow! (Editor perks "?). Until it is the turn of Michael. Thanks to the public and presenters, but before starting his own presentation, invited to the table Hector Hernandez Montesinos, a Chilean poet who has presented his book last week, here in Lima. I invite you to come forward to resolve our differences, "says Miguel, ironically, referring to the audience belonging to the Foreign Ministry of Peru. Poets do not we fight for a piece of land, still, because we own the planet and the universe. The Chilean shines with a poem written from the poetry of Miguel. He explains himself. Then come back to your site. People applauded by the symbolic act of brotherhood among the people of Peru and Chile, in this case represented by poets. Now, the author of Dantes begins his introduction and farewell. Presents his book and says goodbye to Lima, Peru. U.S. looks at home and everything. Speech paused, as if measuring his words. Lanza some jokes and anecdotes that makes you smile to the public. Read their poems. I move several heads in the sense of affirmation, approval, in each verse that leaves the poet's voice. Finish reading and all the toast of honor. The wine is small, so we head to Queirolo of Quilca. The spot, true to the poetry and the bohemian, is united around the author of Dantes. We join several tables to get everyone. People are thirsty. Talk here, talk there. Poetry. Of life. The street. The chaotic world of the city. Of drinks. Of love. Everything. That is the poetry of Miguel. Urban life made poetry. Urban life, the avenues, the streets. That place where "the old woman lived in a cardboard house / out of a cement house." And poetry: "unnatural speak as Rimbaud." Of poets "poor Kavafis have dug a pit in the floor / in your room it to hang from the ceiling / and not have a floor so close." This name a few gems of his penultimate book published. I mean Hymns (2008). And Dantes? Ah! The book to be entertained in the streets of Lima to arrive two days later at Zela Bar (here we made a new presentation and to book.) "beheld through the window of micro ... I watched as anyone, I was nobody until now, looked at them as I watch the move, their faces filled in prices, etc..." To: "I watched the eternal hunger together Rimac River. " course, with Dante, we see this Lima, but Lima Vico (Vico sang that night when inside the bus. / That mix of cumbia, and rock huayno lit / heart / of a girl lying in the window / of the other row of seats ) and Chacalón ( love is singing like Chacalón / singing in the hills of Peru ). But not just the beer. We also found Pucarina Flor ( just say that I am very sad / Ayrampito ) and hummingbird of the Andes ( I see the infinite which passes a song / Hummingbird ). "Only Peru? No! There's Mick "Jagger dancing at the bar - the saxophone is installed on the tip of the light" or "wisdom is to be in a bar somewhere where cheap drink at the border of Mexico and the United States." find this and much more, fellow reader, the book Dantes (almost 200 pages). Bon voyage, Miguel. Taken from

Sapphire And I Love Money

"Stentor": A quick reading the crow flies.

"stentorian." Journal of Latin American Poetry: A quick reading of bird flight

By: César Pineda Quilca

Peruvian literary journals have been, are and will be always there until the silver, the saintly patience, and the desire to do and publish it, are gone. Example shows, we have: Toe Reviewer, Garlic and Sapphires, Lhymen, Dis-italic, and Magnetic Telluric, Daedalus, Vortex, Kaleidoscope, Villa Literary Knots and Mazes, Yachachisun, Sun Blind, dialogism, Martin, The Cardboard House , Revista Peruana de Literature Sieteculebras, Angels and Demons, Sietevientos, Arteidea, Pelican, Hispanic Magazine of Literature, The Golden Fish, just to name a few.

In a difficult environment and closed like ours, where everything costs (especially when published) and no one dares to take a sun when it comes to culture, people do not suddenly appear as strings, ready to fly and dream. Poor individuals that fill the heads of innumerable debts sometimes himself. Foreign subjects who are creating things that you do not even dare imagine. So little by little, as if they were gods, archetypes of possible worlds built until the reality hits ... and they survive in their own way, of course is.

But rather talk about "raucous" (No. 1 - June 2009) magazine that brings us here today and brings us together and makes its early appearance in these parts, immersed in this beautiful "Casa de Carton" making a special way: promoting, disseminating and giving us sick poetry, pure poetry. And this magazine is unique in that house within "its being" literary and expressive vein of various Latin American poets.

"stentorian" is a magazine well done, neat, unaware of errors, structurally well designed, a publication opening steps and breaks boundaries, perhaps because their vision is set to be beyond Peru, limited to a single drive, Latin America. Ie, directs its mission "brothers" over a wide area that is "word."

At the heart of this text we find many voices, the recording of several "poetic", both renowned poets as young hopefuls who will nourish and enhance our spirit. As well as the section on interview (the poet Carlos López Degregori), essay ("The humanity of Vallejo) and likeness (Benedetti Style) and a full range of existing poems.

A clear sign of faith in literature, in creation itself, that love in their madness they have for the poetry editors of this magazine sets: Marialicia Atencio (Venezuela) and Joe Montesinos (Peru), parents responsible for this creature came into the world with the sole intention of promoting creativity and make "poetry remains fresh and alive more than ever."

reason enough to wish to "raucous", long life, for the adventure of launching into space with this their 1st number, a path marked with poetry. And why not say that We continue catching the eye with the intense search that generated the proposal, that "beautiful art of painting ideas with words," and whether it is better, with more and new numbers yet.

Health poets.

Huacho, July 4, 2009.

Note:

* Text read during the presentation of the magazine in the Cofee Bokk "The Cardboard House", two days after the start of the event called "Poetry in Huacho Decentralization." *
"raucous" was presented several months ago, first in the Municipal Library of San Luis, then in other cities. Is currently preparing the second issue. Taken from
