A NOTE ON "WOMEN OF BREAD AND WATER" BY ROGER GARCIA NAIL.

Poemario Favio Alvarez.

A NOTE ON "WOMEN OF BREAD AND WATER" ALVAREZ OJEDA Favio

NAIL By ROGER GARCIA Pablo Neruda

had stated that every poet is searching for its originality with the influence of the authors they read, this originality is evidenced in the rocky road, until you find the perfect and unique poetry.

So the feeling is having a horizon Favio's poetry, especially for choosing a woman as an element of passion. Women of bread and water, three elements that give sustenance to life, despite being a "test pain in body and soul together", says Favio.

is a collection of poems is structured base five poems, entitled to the days of the week and each poem shows a different time of appreciation and desire for women, to reach a permanent final day are every day, day shelter in the considerations and love, even indefinitely by circumstances, in the end the woman sensitivity of bread and water leads us to love in all the perfections and difficulties faced as a woman.

I end up with some verses of Mariano Melgar: "I will be happy, seeing your frankness, / and prevent coups undermine me today. / But, ah, "Silvia"! This love I got another penalty ... " poems dedicated to his beloved Silvia. Similarly Favio dedicated these poems, almost by coincidence in his rhymes to the name, his beloved Libya. "Women tell of bread and water / The past was the time / to sleep like an old road between flowers ... ... How many times / You cried in my mind / whenever you named ..." Verses have broken eyes Favio the courage to write a wish or just claim what we try to be with a woman in the true path of joy and suffering, to say in the absence of the substance and form of kisses passengers. Favio

Greetings and hope his novel as expected to a different landscape.

Talara (Poems in Prose)

1

The wind tells all that God can not say, says dog when sleeping next to me, says sea with its fishing boats and those things that extract oil, and candles of the owners of oil. The wind says taximotos Talara, fishermen, boats, pelicans and buzzards. The wind with its wooden seat in this peaceful viewpoint tells me I can breathe: cans on the track, ghostly girls in shorts that go to sea. I fish, fly in the feasts of muymuys, but I see boats on the track, girls who taste of vanilla ice cream, gently breaking waves on the cold side.

2

Breathing the boats, the sea gets in his speech slow subsidence. Here the oil companies bits of sun in the eyes of the fishermen, the clocks of Dali in his dreams plush with rusty steel. I write without knowing that this shadow is so thin as time.

3

can be you, the oaths of the sea, the planning of the bird in his rock ash. It can be air, my lungs grateful, the passing of my blood in this parched land fishy. It may be that love, ghostly look to the horizon of black wind smothers fish coral desperate that write their wounds wet and dry words on anyone's god.

4

Birds black oil turn in the bend. My heart located in the boats: a nail that holds the air blows towards the East. My heart corroded by the salt and neglect: a black dog wakes up, yawns, stretches. It only has one eye to see the weight of a sea spider in your world soon. Here are the words of the fisherman. Here in the sand, the oars moving toward establishing the Hereafter. I will be one bird, I will be flying this late without wanting ever set foot on land.

5

woke up on this coast with a crust detached from throat; yet could not cry, gulls helped me. I walked a few miles trying to find out if that was real desert, the dogs helped me with their howls. It was nearly night, the sand had written the story of the inhabitants of this paradise dead. I drank the drink that brought me a fisherman. What I said drink: ten from me anything about these gaps, the spring, tear the oil pits skyscrapers / ten of the beach sand time steps, plastics reincarnated bankers expect the dog licking his meaty / ten of this desert a rickety cart, discarded tires on the roadside, crying lying on the doors of the houses burned by the sun of Talara. CERES
(Chronicle)

I do not know when it started. But, like all those fleeing Lima in winter looking for sun, I saw much of its growth from childhood. Ceres in Central Road is the Manhattan or Las Vegas version of chicha. The oasis of neon and banners that never sleeps. Here you can find everything, all the time, little markets, electronics stores such as Elektra, Curacao, or Plaza Vea, as well as dental clinics, ultrasounds, pharmacies, opticians, banks, hardware stores, glassworks, poultry, chicken broth chifas, interprovincial transportation agencies, the sale of pirated videos, pirated CDs, night clubs, hostels all reputation, local dance and folklore as chicha Central Beach, the Samay Wasi, the International, House of Folklore, clubs like Paradise or Talavera, bars and good rock guitar, or furniture and bedding stores, music stores exclusively of folklore, in short, would fill pages to list. Thousands pass through this area Ate Vitarte : poets as poetry group Di-verse or group of ex-Art Vital , and storytellers as Charly Martinez author of "The pins and other stories." Cars, vans and trucks are stopped at the traffic light crossing Ceres Market, people cross busy and rushed. In the pedestrian bridge stop chape couples and solitary plan delighting in the view. Friday, Saturday or Sunday is the same. Like Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday ... Taximotos buzzing everywhere. In the sheltered at San Juan International group will be playing on Sunday Riders Joy and Love, Vico and his group Karicia, Red Paint Alejandro Zárate, Pumita Andy, the Cool, Mayk and Super Sexy Bolivia and from the Voras. From a truck to hear the harp of Tea huayno prayed the "Girl Temptation." A poster advertises Licida phosphorescent Villanueva and Los Walys Peru. I asked Cesar Pineda, a poet of verses God, where is the position of the leg which sells videos of rock and cult films cheap, and I said "well, I'll take you, for you." Meeting the last tour of Heroes, the movie Dogma, little things like that. Alanis is God. God is in Ceres, among thousands of people who have come from above and from all sides. I do not know when it started. But I make the first toast while sounding a theme sung by the King of the Road Central, Pascualillo Coronado, "Clemencia" "What I felt great pain / to know you / you were going to marry the other / never leave me alone because it would be able to kill for you / Chorus: A baby cries ask / have you mercy me / my poor love / the suffering and cries for you. " I know now that the night will not end. I know that Peru someday cease to be fucked. I will sing all night, because Manhattan does not sleep.

NEW TRAVEL

By Juan Carlos Gambirazio

Delirio, sleep and wakefulness in Past Travel Camilo, Miguel Ildefonso, which addresses themes of the history of Latin American society.

Writer Miguel Ildefonso.

In The Last Voyage of Camille, a student based in the United States goes after the mysterious footsteps of a Peruvian lost. Miguel Ildefonso ensures that this novel closes a cycle that began with El Paso and Hotel Lima, entering a period of works that deal with topics less biographical.

- When does The Last Voyage of Camille?

- Many texts are old, some 90 and others in early 2000, basically I did was correct. The stories include dealing with these two periods and the actual texts are of the times. Is the product of two previous books, hence the name, as close as previously been preparing, I try to bring closure to the direction of the previous stories that the reader understands the paradox of these characters.

- There are allusions to familiar characters, like Borges.

- Whenever I mention such characters, who wanted to confront. Although Borges is perhaps in its territory, try to make sense, take it to another context. One imagines Borges in libraries, lecture, I look out to an urban area or bohemian.

- In the book there are descriptions themselves.

- Yes, it was risky. It is a book armed with the texts of the characters and by what they say describe themselves. Perhaps the characters are not well delineated, play a lot with the clichés, try to exploit what is in the collective mentality of reading.

- Is it a cliché that the great lights have a short life?

- It's like a metaphor, the book also seeks to reflect that, is a product of pieces of versions of one or the other, exaggerated, delusional. Treatment as a metaphor for the death of people relatively young and Vallejo, Mariátegui and Heraud, which are somehow like Peru where anything is being done fast or die soon degenerates. That is my central theme of the book.

- Is there work you want more than others?

- The one for me may be the best of my works may not like anyone. The art is, for example Calamaro can do many songs from the same quality and occasionally take a subject like Flaca for hesitation, but you know your heart and see it as unique. The thing is being honest with yourself, with your imperfections, your insanity, not betray you.

- Peru Is a country made of nostalgia?

- Sure, frustrations, the past is enlarged so that seems to serve to frustrate us more. Whenever I think of community in Peru, why not. There is a colonial mentality, lack of democracy, citizens first, second and third categories, so repeat the same problems. Art is the spirit of a nation and many times he wants to hide because they interfere.
