I do not know when it started. But, like all those fleeing Lima in winter looking for sun, I saw much of its growth from childhood. Ceres in Central Road is the Manhattan or Las Vegas version of chicha. The oasis of neon and banners that never sleeps. Here you can find everything, all the time, little markets, electronics stores such as Elektra, Curacao, or Plaza Vea, as well as dental clinics, ultrasounds, pharmacies, opticians, banks, hardware stores, glassworks, poultry, chicken broth chifas, interprovincial transportation agencies, the sale of pirated videos, pirated CDs, night clubs, hostels all reputation, local dance and folklore as chicha Central Beach, the Samay Wasi, the International, House of Folklore, clubs like Paradise or Talavera, bars and good rock guitar, or furniture and bedding stores, music stores exclusively of folklore, in short, would fill pages to list.
